Dr. Teresa M. Propato
Dr. Teresa Propato has been a practicing Podiatrist for nearly 20 years. She was an associate in a group practice in Newtown, Bucks County, PA where she was involved in surgical and non-surgical cutting edge foot care. Summer 2017, after thoughtful consideration, she decided to relocate closer to home in Warrington, PA where she lives with her husband and two daughters.
Dr. Propato's education began in Abington, Pa where she was born and raised. She attended Ursinus College and graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology prior to attending Temple University's School of Podiatric Medicine. After graduation in 1997, Dr. Propato went on to complete a two year surgical residency at Crozer Health Systems. While at Crozer, Dr. Propato was fortunate enough to have had extensive training in wound care through the Burn Center at Crozer Chester Medical Center, as well as the Center for Wound Healing at Crozer-Springfield Division. It was during this time that Dr. Propato developed a special interest in limb salvage and wound care and became a Certified Wound Specialist through the American Board of Wound Management in 2005. She has been on staff at St. Mary's Wound Care Center (1999-2009) and is presently treating wound care patients in the Warrington office as well as at Lower Bucks Hospital Wound Care Center, Bristol, PA. She has maintained her hospital affiliations with St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, Pa., Lower Bucks Hospital, Bristol, Pa., and has now joined the medical staff of Doylestown Hospital.
From 1999-2017 Dr. Propato enjoyed being a part of a busy, diversified practice working closely with specialists and internists at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA and Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA as well as many skilled nursing facilities in Bucks County. She became certified in Foot Surgery in 2003 and continues to be a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association as well as the Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association since 1999.
In her spare time, Dr. Propato enjoys bike rides and walks with her girls, day trips to the beach, spending time with her friends and huge Italian family, and traveling.
Dr. Propato treats all of her patients with the same respect, kindness and compassion as she would her own family and invites you to visit us at Warrington Family Foot Care to see the difference for yourself!
